Empress State Building
The Empress State Building is a skyscraper in Hammersmith and Fulham, London. It was built in 1961 and was 100 metres tall with 28 floors. It was renovated in 2003 by Wilkinson Eyre Architects which added 3 floors and 17.3 metres to its height. mpg were involved in the project carrying out cost analysis and quantity surveying services. The cost of the refurbishment was in the region of £80 million and became a RIBA Award Winner in 2004
