Queen Mary's Hospital
Building work began on the new Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton in September 2003. The redevelopment of Queen Mary’s Hospital, is a Private Finance Initiative (PFI).

mpg are part of the cost consultancy team who are responsible for advising the M&E Subcontractor in respect of their Final Account.

The new hospital will provide:
  • Outpatient rapid diagnostic and treatment facilities
  • A minor injuries treatment centre
  • Limb fitting services
  • 50 elderly and intermediate care beds
  • 20 rehabilitation beds
  • 69 mental health care beds (run by South West London & St George’s Mental Health Trust)
  • Mental health community and day hospital facilities (run by South West London & St George’s Mental Health Trust)
The new building for Queen Mary’s Hospital, Roehampton, will open in February 2006 and will now include the specialist burns dressing clinic that is provided by Chelsea and Westminster NHS Trust. This opening date is eight weeks later than previously planned and allows time for additional construction work but means that the burns clinic will open at the same time as the new hospital.
