mpg are proud to be associated with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing
quantity surveying services on the Mall of the Emirates which is currently under
construction and should be complete in September 2005. It is reputed to be the
most exciting retail and leisure complex in the Arab world, facilities will
include the largest hypermarket in the Middle East, a multi-plex cinema and a
five-star Kempinski Resort Hotel featuring over 400 deluxe rooms with views over
the Arabian Gulf. Underground multi-storey car parks are part of the new
infrastructure. Main attraction of the development will be the the Middle East’s
first indoor ski resort featuring one of the world’s longest indoor ski slopes
equivalent in size to three football pitches. |

The development combines dramatic contemporary design with traditional Arabic
architecture with every section having a distinctive style and a unique
atmosphere. The interior will be a myriad of arcades, which culminate in a
spectacular galleria at the heart of the development, marked with a spectacular
domed skylight 12 storeys in height, allowing light to flood into the Galleria.
Lighting will be used to dramatic effect, accentuating the architecture and
complementing the mood of each themed area. |
