Aberthaw Power Station was due for closure and now Npower has committed itself to installing new environmental technology at the plant, with the aim of cutting sulphur emissions from the coal-burning furnaces by up to 90%.
The project is scheduled to be ready by early 2008 when a new EU
directive on emission controls takes effect and mpg will be
carrying out cost analysis and valuation schedules on behalf of
the M & E Contractor
